& here's wad actually took place:

1. Surprise birthday celebration
2. Dinner together at Newton

Basically only the no.1 point changed but still it surprises me la.

Yesterday was supposed to be a full 8 members of RC makkals being present.

But it ended with only 3 of us (Nz, Nisha & me) initially, den joined by Sikin coz she got FYP.

But it's ok, like wad nz said, "nvr md, the fun would still be the same"=)

Met Nz at Orchard, and she told me dat Nisha's gonna be late.
& so we headed to Borders first coz she wanted to take a look at Twilight Book 3.

After browsing thru the books, and around Borders, nz said, "Nisha waiting around Swensen's".
I was like, oh okay without much doubt or anything suspicious.

Den when we reached Swensen's, I saw a group of Indian gals and so was thinking dat maybe dat's Nisha's frens.
Dat's simply coz she couldn't have gone to Swensen alone rite?

But now, thinking again, nz'z "white lies" could have been easily seen thru coz is nisha's gonna be late, y is she at the Swensen's rite?

haha!

Ok, back to the main topic.

Nz den said dat perhaps Nisha'a inside, so we went in la.

By now, I'm already kinda suspicious coz we have no plans what-so-ever to dine-in at Swensen's.

Nisha's already dere waiting 4 us.

Den they told the waitress sumtink and a few moments later, the manager came with a bowl of ice-cream + a candle on it.

It's the surprise birthday celebration dat they have planned la!

After eating the ice-cream, they proceeded to surprise me even more with their lovely presents.
Thanks again 4 the presents!

Alrite, dere's actually Gurveen's present behind the card but u can't really see it in diz picture.
She's away in Australia for her holiday on dat day, yet she still left me her present in Nisha's care.

Dat's so sweet & nice of her la.
So to Gurveen, if u're reading diz, thankz gal!

Next would be Nz's present.
She bought me diz uber cool mug with a phrase dat says, "Next mood swing... 5 minutes"

My mom's was like, woah! ur fren noe u too well la.

Oh yeah, she also gave me diz very nice bdae card~
Which had my name written BIG BIG at the envelope.. =)

& lastly would be Gurveen present; a pretty bracelet!

& den we headed out to Newton where Sikin is waiting 4 us, den to Newton hawker centre/food court.
We reached dere around 5 on the dot but took like 45mins to survey the food and come up with our decision.
haha!

Sikin didn't want her pic taken most of the time so most of the picz i get from Nz and Nisha were picz of her covering her face or sometink like dat.

& so we were talking & talking while waiting 4 the food to come.
Den by 6, we started eating after the first batch of food came!

Following dat were the medium sambal stingray & tom yum soup.
You can actually see Nisha's hand scooping the Tom Yum soup for me~

Den we tried taking a group pic, but failed after several attempts.
So we decided dat we'll take a group picture after we finished everytink.

Only managed to capture nz's and nisha's face, part of my scarf and none of sikin's.
Ahahah!

Oh yeah, we were like saying dat all the picz were going to be either me and nisha, or nz and sikin.
Coz of the seating arrangement la~
How true, haha!

&&& we didn't stop eating dere.
After more rounds of talking, apparently the topic of driving is the HOT thing dat nite.

Coz nisha's having her driving prac and sikin alrd successfully obtain a license u see.
Nz have no plans yet on taking it & as for me, I've already registered it.

We ordered satay after the burden dat we felt on our stomach lifted up bit by bit.
