Long post about FYP

Diz post will be totally about FYP stuff. (^_^)V

Monday, 10th March

Alrite so my FYP team is supposed to go check the mangroves out at Admiralty Park while waiting for the approval from Sungei Buloh. Thus, early in the morning, we have already met up. The way to the Admiralty Park is criusly full of centipedes, millipedes, and I think all the other pedes larh rite. Clarice & Fairuz was like walking on tip-toes while Raj, Cindy & me juz heck-cared already.. ahahaha.. N i tink we have stepped on tens of those pedes larh.. oops.. =X

N only to find out dat part of the Admiralty Park was closed for reconstruction, thus we don't noe how to get to the mangrove area. But wad we are pissed off about is dat our PI itself, the dear (insert name) actually told us to go ask the RPC or google about the mangrove swamp in the Admiralty Park.

N u tell me, RPC????? The ones who r like working robots???
N worse, GOOGLE about it ourselves???

In case u r wondering, where the heck is the dearest PI, she's busy elsewhere, n left us to wander around on our own.. @$#%#$@ larh!!

We ended up going to CWP KFC to discuss about what are we going to do next, n we managed to come up with our own protocol and work plan for the month, NO THANX TO DAT PERSON..

Tuesday, 11th March
We went to PRP since we have confirmed dat dat place has our species. Thus we sort-of illegally scrape off some of the barks for our species dere.. We are criusly walking around like theives larh..

With the ZipLoc bags to hold the bark sample, with the camera to take pictures, n also with 2 of us keeping guard at those times when we did dat things.

At the end of the day, we managed to scoot out successfully.. ahahhaa.. N of course, we r a happy bunch of peeps who managed to get our bark samples.. (^_*)

N yarh, dat dearest person is still MIA..

Wedsnesday, 12th March
Since dere isn't any meeting dat day, we all did our own stuff like research on all. However, late in the afternoon, when Cindy went over to collect some of the materials needed for our field trip to Sungei Buloh for today, again NO THANKS TO DAT PERSON, we realized dat we had to change our protocol and methodology..

N u tell me, field trip is 2MRW, protocol had to be changed TODAY???
N dat drove all of us insane larh, and we had to mass-convo right-away..

When we msged DAT PERSON, the latter told us about how we need to sit down and re-think of our plan all over again..

CRIUSLY, THANKS ALOT LARH OK?

But still, we managed to tide over dat period and move on to the field trip, which is today..

Today (Thursday), 13th March
Today was a pretty fun time at Sungei Buloh.. *too wide a smile to put any apt emoticon*

We had to wear boots and go down to the mangrove swamp area itself to collect the bark samples.
At first we were like walking too uncomfortably, almost like a penguin.. ahahahaaa.. But after some time, we are all okay with it already.. :D

Each of us had our turns to go down to the muddy area. We couldn't all go down since we had to take down some notes and also we carried two big bags.

N not to mention, the helper who assist us is SUPER FRIENDLY ok? :D

So when it's time to head to the main entrance and back to sch, we took several pictures with the helper.. but the pic is not with me so I cant show u larh..

N btw, I suspect Raj has got super powers; premonition.
